Terms of Service

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Gyan Udaan mobile application (the "Service") operated by PikaDevs ("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. User Accounts

To use the core features of the Service, you must register for an account using Google Sign-In and provide a valid phone number. You agree to provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.

You are responsible for safeguarding the account that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your account. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

3. Use of the Service

Gyan Udaan provides educational content, including but not limited to notes, multiple-choice questions (MCQs), online mock exams, and progress tracking tools ("Content"). The Service is intended for your personal, non-commercial use for the purpose of preparing for government and other competitive examinations.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original Content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of PikaDevs and its licensors. The Content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of Nepal and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of PikaDevs.

5. Disclaimer

The Content provided within the Gyan Udaan app is for educational and informational purposes only.

No Affiliation with Government Bodies: Gyan Udaan is an independent application developed by PikaDevs. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government body of Nepal, including the Public Service Commission (Loksewa Aayog), Teachers' Service Commission (TSC), or any other official examination authority.

Accuracy of Content: We make significant efforts to ensure the Content provided is accurate and up-to-date. However, we do not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on our Service. The Content should be used as a supplementary preparation tool, and users are encouraged to consult official sources.

No Guarantee of Success: Your use of the Service does not, in any way, guarantee that you will pass or achieve a certain score in any official examination. Success is dependent on individual effort, study, and various other factors.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm, disable, or impair the Service. Prohibited behavior includes, but is not limited to:

Attempting to decompile, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to obtain the source code of the Service.

Using the Service to distribute unsolicited promotional or commercial content (spam).

Engaging in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Service or the servers and networks connected to the Service.

Impersonating any person or entity.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, a breach of the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so by using the account deletion feature within the App.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall PikaDevs, nor its directors, employees, partners, or agents, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of the Service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
