The Nepal Army schedule effective from 2083 Shrawan 1 lists NPR 67,045 as the starting basic salary for the row labeled सहायक सेनानी. Match the rank in the commissioning notice to this schedule row before using the figure; allowances and take-home pay are not included.

## Check the current commissioning notice

Pay for a Nepal Army officer depends on the applicable rank row, grade, appointment terms, and any allowance authorized for the officer’s duties or posting. The official scale identifies basic pay; service rules determine any other applicable terms.

Use the [Nepali Army’s official publications and notices](https://www.nepalarmy.mil.np/publication) to find the relevant recruitment or commissioning information, then consult the [Ministry of Finance salary-scale notice](https://fcgo.gov.np/content/404/salary-of-national-service-employees-effective-from/) for the scale effective on the relevant date. Confirm any service-specific benefits from the official Army rules or the document named in that notice.

## A careful salary estimate

Record the rank and appointment date, salary-scale version, grade, authorized allowances, and documented deductions. Do not treat an allowance that applies to one operation or posting as universal. Separate the basic scale from gross pay and net pay, and confirm retirement terms under the rules that apply to the officer’s appointment.

This is a source-checking guide, not a verified current salary breakdown. For official recruitment updates, use the [Nepali Army’s official website](https://www.nepalarmy.mil.np/publication).
